Abstract

This paper investigates the potential integration of real-time data analytics in cloud-enabled systems of IoT. The growth in the IoT landscape at a faster pace has led to massive data generation, and hence integrating efficient analytics is required to extract relevant actionable insights for various applications such as environmental monitoring, industrial automation, and healthcare optimization. We propose an integrated framework that exploits the power of cloud computing capabilities towards data collection, processing, and analytical tasks. It discusses the challenges that exist in this domain, explains the methodologies that help overcome these challenges, and shows the usefulness of the proposed framework in enabling real-time analytics.
